"And they took note that these men had been with Jesus." Acts 4:13b

As I was reading my Bible the other day, I came across this passage about Peter and John. They had been thrown into prison but were still speaking with boldness. The men who put them in jail saw the courage of these two ordinary men, and "took note that these men had been with Jesus." Only being with Jesus could cause them to be so bold.

What about you and me? When people look at us, do they see a boldness that could only come from being with Jesus? Do they say, "Wow! That guy must have spent some time with God this morning!" ?

Life can be tough. Going to school, working, participating in sports, dealing with friends, and just being part of a family can be tough, but you were created for this. That's not just a cute saying. It is 100% truth!

God has placed you where you are - on that sports team, in that class at school, at that job - for a reason. Maybe someone there needs to hear about Jesus. Maybe someone there needs to know that someone cares about them and that they are needed. Step up and be bold. You never know whose life you may touch.

Spending time with Jesus will help us be bold. Knowing He is there with us, will help us get though the day and do what we have been called to do. What bold action has God called you to today? Seek Him and know that you were created for this! Be bold!
