They are not yet adults, but they are no longer little kids. As they become who God created them to be, let's pause for a moment and celebrate who they are right now. That's why we here at Pix Along The Way have created the Tween/Teen Experience. As parents ourselves, we know how much growing and maturing our children do during these years, and we wanted to come up with a way to help you (and us!) preserve these days. Who said we need to wait until their senior year to get some professional portraits taken?
We want to tell their story of who they are right now, in this moment. Beginning this year, every January through March we are reserving a limited number of spots for exactly this reason, the Tween/Teen Experience.
So what is the Tween/Teen Experience?
It is precisely that - an experience for your tween or teen. It all starts with you and your tween/teen joining us for some snacks at our studio, where we will get to know them a little better. Maybe we have already photographed them on the basketball court, the dance floor or the baseball diamond, but this is a time for us to learn even more about them - what makes them laugh and what they do to help you out when no one is looking.
Then comes session day. The actual session will last about an hour. Then while you and your tween/teen go out for lunch, we will be busy getting your photographs ready for you. After lunch you will all return to the studio, where you will get to view their exclusive video and choose your favorite photos.
So what kinds of photos are these and what should we bring?
We will discuss this in detail when you come for your consultation, but the main goal is to bring things that represent your tween/teen - things that help tell their story of who they are. We are talking baseball bats, ballet shoes and books...or maybe skateboards, swimming goggles and their shoe collection. Bring all the things.
So who is this experience for?
The tween/teen experience is for ANY tween or teen ages 10-16 who want to remember these years with professional photos and a day just for them. It is for parents who want to celebrate these years and help make their tween/teen feel just as special as they truly are.
